JUST HOW TALL IS AEXEOUS ANYWAY??
  LET’S COMPARE:
Today Show Host Al Roker is 5’8”tall, standing next to the world’s tallest man, Sultan Kosen who stands an amazing 8’1” tall!

Aexeous is 12’ tall fully standing, which means he is still about 4’ taller than the world’s tallest man!  Now THAT’S TALL!!!!!

REMEMBER!  AEXEOUS SAYS IT’S VERY IMPORTANT TO STAY IN SCHOOL!!!

Hello Students and welcome to our new page designed exclusively for you!!  We plan on updating this page quite a bit so check back often!  Have fun exploring this page!

AEXEOUS USED TO DO WHAT???
Aexeous is a very unique robot.  It is a heavy duty, self intelligent machine.  It was originally developed back in the mid 1980’s as a top secret project, and the public was never supposed to know it existed.  It is a prototype robot originally designed to patrol high security areas to keep buildings and people safe!  Now he has a new job as a teaching tool for students everywhere!!

MORE COOL AEXEOUS FUN FACTS:
•  AEXEOUS HAS OVER 1,000 SENSORS ALL OVER HIS BODY

•  HE CAN SEE WHAT IS GOING ON ALL AROUND HIM BECAUSE HE HAS MANY SMALL CAMERAS!  THAT MEANS HE HAS EYES IN THE BACK OF HIS HEAD!

•  HIS JAWS OPEN UP LIKE A SNAKE, AND ITS TEETH DISLOCATE AND EXTEND OUTWARD (MADE TO GRAB!)

•  HE IS MADE FROM METAL (ALUMINUM & STEEL)

•  HE HAS 2 AIR SHOCKS THAT HE USES TO STAND UP THAT ARE SO STRONG, THEY CAN LIFT A CAR!

•  AEXEOUS WEIGHS OVER 800 POUNDS (THAT’S ABOUT THE SAME WEIGHT AS A GRIZZLY BEAR!)

•  THOUSANDS OF HOURS HAVE GONE IN TO MAKING AEXEOUS: ONE FINGER TOOK OVER ONE MONTH TO MAKE

•  IT YOU TOOK ALL THE WIRES INSIDE AEXEOUS AND LAYED THEM OUT END TO END, IT WOULD MEASURE OVER 2 MILES!

•  AEXEOUS OPERATES BY USING OVER 40 BATTERIES, SOLAR POWER AND A HYDROGEN FUEL CELL!  THAT MEANS AEXEOUS RUNS ON CLEAN ENERGY!

THE POWER TO CONTROL AEXEOUS IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND!!
These are the Aexeous Power Control Cards!  When Aexeous sees you holding this card, you become his master.  He will only listen to YOU!  We give this card to the chosen masters at schools, demonstrations and events!

Medical Field:  The Da Vinci Robot

The da Vinci Robot* gives the surgeon new tools for minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery. The robotic system was originally developed by the Department of Defense for use as a robotic surgeon for the battlefield and is approved by the FDA. The system replicates the surgeon's hand movements realtime in laparoscopic instruments. It cannot be programmed, nor does it make any independent decisions, but rather it does only what the surgeon inputs in realtime.
Space Exploration:  Exploring Distant Planets
No longer exclusively the realm of science fiction, sending robots out into space has become a reality in the last couple of decades. Perhaps they are not robots in the sense of androids or humanoid robots but they certainly are automated machines, programmed to perform specific tasks, to respond to situations and so forth.   The next generation of these robot explorers have already landed on Mars and are exploring this world for us, albeit in a limited way. Future generations of robot space explorers may prepare mining and other exploitations, dig for water and even build us habitats, ready to move in.   Using robots as space explorers, space habit builders and robot miners has enormous advantages over sending humans as a first. They require significantly less in terms of "living and working" in hostile environments such as space and other planets, than humans do, being much more cost effective initially

Robots - The New Wave Of Industrial Manufacturing

Robotic arms, controls and software are reaching out and grabbing an ever increasing portion of manufacturing. Learning to put robotics to use is an essential survival skill for U.S. manufacturers as robots become more efficient, reliable and easier to control while the available labor market shrinks with automation as part of the solution to fill the gap.

The automotive industry has been a leader in successfully adopting robotics. More recently, general industry, packaging, food, rubber, plastics and the machinery industries have found more ways to put robots to work.

Robots Helping Our Brave Soldiers In The Military
Everyone knows that being a soldier is a dangerous job, but some of the tasks that soldiers are required to do are more dangerous than others. Walking through minefields, deactivating unexploded bombs or clearing out hostile buildings, for example, are some of the most dangerous tasks a person is asked to perform in the line of duty.   What if we could send robots to do these jobs instead of humans? Then, if something went wrong, we'd only lose the money it cost to build the robot instead of losing a human life. And we could always build more robots.   The U.S. military has been developing robotic systems for all sorts of jobs for years now, and some of them are even on the front lines in Iraq.
